Tell your state senator: "NO" on SB 857

SB 857 would harm parks, game lands, and fishing access—and undermine a landowner’s right to donate property for conservation. Take action to defend public lands. Send an email to your Pennsylvania state senator and urge them to oppose SB 857.

This legislation would severely limit the ability of the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Game Commission, and Fish and Boat Commission to expand public land and waterways in Pennsylvania for wildlife management, hunting, boating and fishing access, and other recreational uses. If passed, SB 857 would require county approval for any land transactions involving sale or donation of private property to these agencies.

Use the action form below to send an email to your senator. A personalized message can make a big difference—please add a sentence or two about your favorite outdoor area in Pennsylvania and why state parks, game lands, and public waterways matter to you.
